Set your ByteSIM line for data and switch on roaming (no extra charge from us).
No signal or data? Check that roaming is on and your ByteSIM line is selected for data, or contact ByteSIM 24/7 support.
Select iPhone or Android, then follow the installation method that matches your ByteSIM setup.
Open the install page in your ByteSIM App, confirm the prompt, then complete the iPhone setup.
Open Mobile Service or Cellular settings, add a new eSIM, then scan the QR code shown in your ByteSIM App.
If QR scanning is unavailable, you can enter the installation details manually from your ByteSIM App.
Tap Install eSIM in your ByteSIM App. Android may show setup prompts before installing your eSIM.
Choose Scan QR code on your Android phone, scan the QR code from your ByteSIM App, then add the eSIM.
Use manual setup if QR scanning is not available. Enter the activation details from your ByteSIM App.
Most plans start only after your eSIM connects at your destination.
For most ByteSIM plans, installing the eSIM does not start your plan. Your plan starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in the covered destination.
When you arrive, turn on your ByteSIM eSIM, enable data roaming and set it as your mobile data line.
If data does not work, restart your phone, check the product APN settings and make sure your phone is connected to a supported network.
