Most eSIMs will only activate at the destination once they connect to a supported network or any of the supported networks.
On the other hand, there are eSIMs that will activate instantly as soon as they are installed, regardless of the location.

After your purchase, we will send a QR code to your email. Either print the QR code or open it on your computer.
Don't set up your eSIM too early. eSIMs have a limited number of days attached to each data plan. Don't start the plan too soon or it won't last for your trip.We recommend setting up the data plan the same day that you travel.
On your cell phone, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan and scan the QR code. Your phone will allow you to assign a specific name to this data plan. The Bytesim data plan will only be operational once you arrive at your destination. Once you land, turn on data roaming on your cell phone settings and activate the Bytesim data plan. You will now be able to switch between your Bytesim data plan and the original plan from your provider. Consult your phone’s user manual for more details on adding a data plan.
Because our system needs to check your order, and it takes a certain amount of time to prepare the QR code.
If you purchase the plan on the day of the destination or the next day, the plan will be sent to your email address within 2 hours after the order is placed.
If you purchase 2 days or more in advance, we will send it to you in advance one day in advance.
This error message appears when you are trying to add an eSIM that has been added before, or the QR-code was partially scanned due to poor connection.
In order to confirm whether the eSIM has been installed or not, please proceed as below:
Go to Settings,Go to General,Tap About and scroll down.
If the eSIM is installed and turned on you should be able to view the ICCID [NUMBER] + an extra digit as long as the eSIM line is “On” under your Cellular Plans.
Please note that in case the eSIM has been removed and you attempt to reinstall it, it will not be possible!
On the other hand, if you are installing the eSIM for the first time, this error message could be due to a poor connection, VPN enabled, or too many eSIMs installed on the device.
Please follow the steps below to install your eSIM successfully:
6.1.Disable any VPN
6.2.Ensure that you have a good and stable internet connection
6.3.Remove any eSIMs you will no longer use
6.4.Check if the software is updated to the latest version
6.5.Try to install an eSIM through an installation method different than before
