How to Activate My eSIM Manually?

Chances are that you may fail to scan the eSIM QR in some cases such as a camera scanning problem, unclear QR code image, or even failure to receive a QR code owing to mailbox blocking or recognized as a spam letter scan and the like. So, this useful and practical article is presented to help you cope with failure scanning.
"This Code Is No Longer Valid" Error
When you are trying to add an eSIM that has been added before, or the QR code was partially scanned due to poor connection, this error message appears.
To check whether the eSIM has been installed or not, PLS follow the steps as below:

Go to " Settings">>

Go to " General">>

Tap " About" and scroll down>>
*You should be able to view the ICCID(a cluster of codes) if the eSIM is installed and turned on, as long as the eSIM line is set to " On" in your Cellular Plans.
*In case the eSIM has been removed and you try to reinstall it, please note that it will not be possible.
*If you are installing the eSIM for the first time, this error message could be caused by a poor connection, VPN enabled, or too many eSIMs installed on the device.
So before installing the QR code, PLS have a check whether you have followed these steps:

Disable any VPN>>

Ensure that you have a good and stable internet connection>>

Remove any eSIMs you will no longer use>>

Check if the software is updated to the latest version>>
If it still doesn't work, PLS try to enter the Activation code and SM-DP+ Address code manually to install the eSIM(if the sent message doesn't enclose with them, contact the service provider to get one)
How to Activate My ESIM Manually?
If the above-mentioned steps do not work to scan the QR code, here is a list of how to activate it manually:
For Android

Go to the My eSIMs tab on your eSIM app or website to find your Manual Installation details.

On your Android device, go to "Settings".

Tap on " Network & Internet".

Tap on " Mobile Network".

Tap the Add icon next to Mobile Network.

When asked, " Don't have a SIM card?", tap Next.
Tap on " Enter Code Manually" and enter the QR code information ( SM-DP+ Address) available on the Manual Installation tab on your eSIM installation page.

Turn on your eSIM under "Mobile Network" settings.

Enable Data Roaming (remember to turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges when overseas).

Set up an APN (access point name) on your device if required. In the eSIM installation details, you can find the APN details.
For IOS

Go to the My eSIMs tab on your eSIM app or website to find your Manual Installation details.

Go to Settings.

Tap on " Cellular or Mobile".

Tap on " Add Cellular Plan".

Select " Enter Details Manually".
-
Enter the required information, including the SM-DP+ Address, Activation Code, and Confirmation Code(if available).

Enable your eSIM under " Cellular settings".

Select your eSIM for Cellular data.

Enable Data Roaming if necessary (Turn off your primary line when overseas to avoid roaming charges.)

Set up an APN (access point name) on your device if it is necessary. In the eSIM installation details, you can find the APN details.
